Volkswagen Australia has added another variant to the Tiguan range with the arrival of the new Volkswagen Tiguan 162TSI Sportline.
The new offering joins the other Tiguan models with the same Golf GTI-sourced 162kW turbo-petrol engine – Tiguan 162TSI Highline (reviewed here) and R-Line-enhancement pack, prices here start from $45,990.

The offering comes as standard with a seven-speed DGS transmission and all-wheel drive.
Setting it apart from the other Tiguan variants are unique, sporty touches including:
Black ‘ArtVelours’ microfleece/cloth seat upholstery (seen below)
Chrome roof rails
20” Kapstadt Grey Metallic alloy wheels
While on the inside buyers will also find the Discover Media audio and satellite navigation system, with 8” high definition touchscreen.
Volkswagen dealerships also have a panoramic glass sunroof to offer you ($2,000) and metallic paint ($700).
