Record Australian sales for Skoda in 2017

A strong 20% lift in Australia sales in 2017 has helped Skoda achieve a new first for the brand – 5000 sales in a calendar year.
And, with a month of sales still to come, Skoda is on track to post a healthy total higher than any other year in the brand’s local history.

Skoda Australia has confirmed it passed 5000 sales in November, eclipsing the entire 2016 sales result for the brand where 4760 vehicles in total were delivered to Australian customers in the full 12 months.
Skoda’s best-selling car in Australia so far this year is the Octavia (1,787), while Superb sales have increased 43% year to date with 925 now being delivered.
Fabia sales are also up 22%.
But driving a lot of the growth has also been the arrival of the new Skoda KODIAQ SUV.
Already, 558 have been handed over to Aussie Skoda customers and that’s despite there being some supply restrictions, according to Skoda.
While Skoda sales in 2018 are expected to also be boosted by the arrival of another all-new SUV – the KAROQ.
