Mazda teased the new fourth-generation Mazda6 last week, now the Australia-bound offering has been revealed in full at the LA Auto Show.
Mazda tell us the new-gen model is a step-above in terms of craftsmanship, design and technologies.

Landing in Australia around the middle of next year, the new Mazda6 will be built on all new chassis and the Japanese car brand say this provide a more supple ride, greater agility and a quieter cabin.
Speaking of the cabin (seen below), Mazda designers have changed everything, except the steering wheel and some small trim pieces – the result is a more subtle and sophisticated feel, according to Mazda.
But the big change is under the bonnet with the Mazda6 shifting to the same 2.5 litre turbocharged engine found in the CX-9.
Mazda Australia has confirmed the 170kW/420Nm engine will be offered in GT and Atenza models.
Other variants will continue to come with a 2.5 litre naturally aspirated engine, while the diesel will stay, but available only on Touring grade and up.
