Kia Australia celebrates 50,000 sales in 2017

What a year 2017 has proven to be for Kia Australia. Month after month of record sales and the local arrival of a model sure to change the way we look at the brand forever – the Stinger.
Of course, much of the sales growth has stemmed from the continuing surge in popularity of the Cerato, while models like Rio, Carnival, Sportage and Sorento have all made big contributions.

Now comes confirmation that the local operation has handed over keys to 50,000 cars and SUVs so far this year, and there’s still December to come.
Last year, across the full 12 months, Kia delivered 42,668 vehicles in our market, up from 33,736 in 2015.
“It is a significant achievement, and one that everybody associated with Kia Motors Australia, our company staff, our dealers and suppliers, should be justly proud of,” Kia COO Damien Meredith
“This outcome has been built on sound business practices, high quality product, consistency of brand positioning and an uncompromised determination to deliver satisfaction to our customers.”
“We will take a moment to acknowledge the milestone, raise the bat and then put the head down and get back in the game.”
