The 2018 Ford EcoSport is arriving in local dealerships this month with fresh looks and some new features for the new year.
The small SUV has had a difficult 2017, sales have fallen more than 26% year to date as the segment continues to welcome an array of new models from a host of different manufacturers.

But Ford Australia believes the 2018 version of the EcoSport has a good story to tell.
The update includes refreshed styling front and rear, three fresh new paint colours, improved in-cabin materials, simplified controls and more comfortable seats.
The latest SYNC 3 infotainment, with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, features as standard across the EcoSport range.
While some tweaks to the entry-level EcoSport Ambiente’s 1.5 litre three-cylinder engine bring more power and torque (8kW/10Nm) for a new 90kW/150Nm output.
A new six-speed auto transmission also features.
The Trend and Titanium continue to enjoy Ford’s 1.0 litre three-cylinder EcoBoost engine giving 92kW/170Nm – but for the first time this engine will be available with an auto.
Ford President and CEO, Graeme Whickman, says the 2018 Ford EcoSport is a step ahead of this year’s version.
“The Ford EcoSport brings a new, smart look to Ford’s expanding SUV line-up, but importantly allows Australians, who we know love SUVs, a compact vehicle that offers a raised seating position, interior space and overall flexibility.”
